LIT LIFE Battery Innovation
Lead acid battery manufacturing is a complex and precise process that involves several stages. The first step is the preparation of the lead plates, where lead alloys are casted and shaped into grids. These grids are then pasted with a mixture of lead oxide and sulfuric acid to form the active material. The next stage is assembling the cells by stacking the plates and separating them with insulating materials. Once the cells are assembled, they are connected in series to form a battery. The battery is then filled with electrolyte, which is a mixture of sulfuric acid and water. Finally, the battery undergoes a formation process where it is charged and discharged several times to activate the chemical reactions and improve its capacity. This process requires strict quality control measures to ensure the reliability and performance of the lead acid batteries.
